What we collect

• No accounts. You can't sign up or log in on Betsy's Buzz, and we don't ask for personal information to read the site.
• No forms or comments. The site has no contact form, comment section or newsletter sign-up.
• Email you send us. If you email smerfe@gmail.com, we receive your email address and whatever you include. We use it only to reply and to fix the site, and we don't sell it.
• Hosting logs. Like most websites, the service that hosts this site may automatically record technical information such as IP address, browser type and pages requested, for security and operation.

Outbound and affiliate links

Many links on Betsy's Buzz go to other websites: extension services, government pages and stores. Some are affiliate links, including Amazon search links that carry our Associates tag. As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases. When you follow a link, you leave Betsy's Buzz and that site's own privacy policy applies.

Cookies

• Our pages don't use scripts of our own or tracking pixels.
• When you click an affiliate link, Amazon may set cookies in your browser so it can tell that the visit came from Betsy's Buzz and credit a qualifying purchase. Those cookies are set and controlled by Amazon, not by us. If we later join other affiliate programs, their cookies would work the same way, and we'd update this page.
• Our hosting provider may set cookies needed to deliver the site.
• You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking them won't stop you from reading this site.

The music video (YouTube)

The Bumblebee Buzz page may show a YouTube video player. We load it from youtube-nocookie.com, which is YouTube's privacy-enhanced embed address. According to YouTube's help page, privacy-enhanced mode prevents views of embedded content from influencing the viewer's browsing experience on YouTube. The player still comes from YouTube (Google), so YouTube's and Google's own policies apply to it, and we don't control what it does. You can skip the player and use the plain link to the video instead.

Children

Betsy's Buzz is written for adults and isn't directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect information from children.

Changes

If we add something that changes this policy (for example, a new affiliate program or an analytics tool), we'll update this page and its effective date.
